This two-time Grammy nominee’s career has taken Cindy/Cidny from singing back-up with Sir Elton John and singing lead vocals on the “Grease” movie soundtrack--to having eight critically acclaimed solo albums, including the award winning Somewhere Between Heaven and Earth. Cidny has also co-written songs in Nashville, producing several charting singles and is one-third of  “super-group”, The Refugees, with Wendy Waldman and Deborah Holland. In 2011, Cindy became Cidny, making the daunting decision to transition from female to male. Cid has written and created a one-person show with multimedia and his songs--Somewhere Between: Not An Ordinary Life and has been performing it around the country-including to rave reviews. He is now writing his memoir, recording a new album with The Refugees, and continuing to book solo concerts and his show around the country.

“As another rocker who has grown up and managed to incorporate adult concerns without sacrificing the passion and energy of youth, Cidny Bullens deserves to be mentioned alongside such peers as Bruce Springsteen, John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt, and Steve Earle.” -No Depression

“You have to see this! It is an extraordinary story of an exceptional human being. What a story! What a life! What a fantastic show!” -Sir Elton John

“Once known to Nashville’s music community as Cindy Bullens — singer-songwriter, wife and mother — Bullens’ transformation into Cidny is a fascinating story that he told with grace and emotional power through a heartfelt original script and songs drawn from the well-respected Bullens catalog. This show was a startlingly original piece of theater.” -Martin Brady/Nashville Scene
